Terran to Denice: Feeling Loie

Terran: It had vertical flat rings corrugated with a v shape
Terran: The ring size varied with where it was in the dome to fit the shape...
Terran: The hole in the rings was .5 to .67 the diameter.... kind of working from memory here...
Terran: They seemed to be copper
Terran: The rings are adjacent but with gaps between them
Terran: When I asked what it was I got "plasma harvester" and I got it had something to do with the solar wind that converges at the poles
Terran: When I asked what it was used for I got that somehow this thing creates the cold or ice on Antarctica
Terran: How it does that is my puzzle and I'm wondering if this is a power plant for some other device

Terran: There's some missing data I need but I need to understand the general principle of it
Scientists: COMMANDER TERRAN. THIS EQUIPMENT USES THE INFLUX OF FREQUENCY/PLASMA/UNITY/MAGNETICS TO CREATE REQUIRED/DESIRED TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS. THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES PROVIDE THE ULTIMATE COVER.
Terran: Is one device sufficient or would there be an array of these?
Scientists: COMMANDER TERRAN. THERE WOULD BE MORE THAN ONE STATION TO PROVIDE "COVER" FOR ONE LARGE LANDMASS.
Terran: Is the cover horizontal only or also vertical? Would satellites in orbit know what is there?
Scientists: COMMANDER TERRAN. COVER IS "MULTIDIMENSIONAL" AND NOT RECOGNIZED AS SUCH. IT "BLENDS".
Terran: So it looks like snow and ice?
Scientists: YES. AND FROM SOME PERSPECTIVES IT APPEARS TO BE A WATERY PLANE. ALL DEPENDING UPON THE VIEWPOINT.
Terran: Like a mirage!
Terran: Would this shield possibly be the cause of the belief there are holes at the ends of the world? [the hollow earth theory]
Scientists: COMMANDER TERRAN. NO THE SHIELD HAS NO THING TO DO WITH THE PERCEIVED HOLES AT THE EASRTHSPHERE AXIS.
Terran: Did Atlantis 2 shield itself from view with a similar tech?
