I continue to make progress in my at home physical therapy. My legs are much much stronger than they were a month ago, I can stand now with very little wobble (I measure progress in units of wobble 😀 the lower the better). I still need a walker, and my calves are at full strength. I still have work to do on the thighs and gluts, but I really do think I will be free from the walker with in two weeks. It's now less about muscle strength than it is pushing through the mental fear of falling again and landing back in the hospital. I just have to keep pushing myself. An in home therapist comes twice a week and Saturday she told me that I was doing double what I did the previous Thursday, so progress is coming pretty rapidly. I really do think the BPC-157 peptide supplement greatly increased my leg strength.
I still want to look into the vein therapy for my legs, to fix the root problem, but I need to get walking first so I don't think I can do that until probably June at the earliest.
I want to express my love to all of you who have helped me when I needed it most, and those that couldn't donate I know you were sending me healing energy.
I would like to raise $1500 or better for May as the flow allows. There are bills to pay, and my debt has grown on my credit card through all this. And my car needs smog inspection and its registration paid to Texas. I couldn't do ride share driving now even if could, as my registration expired while I was in the hospital.
I've got ideas on how to make use of the content I do have, and I have older content on this blog that needs to be updated and I want to pull over behind the paywall on Substack which can help bring income. I also think I have content that could create a book or two. Currently the substack site only has one paying customer, and I get $6 each month from it. But hey it's a start and had been an experiment so far. Substack is designed for writers so it's a nice platform to work with.
