December donations

Hi everyone!  Had a busy week last week so I haven't been online much except for on Telegram and Twitter.

The period between Thanksgiving and New Year's is always the slowest time of the year for the blog  and for my gig work driving.  Please consider supporting this blog if you are able.

I'm looking to raise $800 or better for the upcoming bills.   Last week I worked a lot of hours to catch up some outstanding bills.

After the first of the year I am going to look for other work that pays better, the gig driving work I liked because it was flexible, and if I needed time off its not a big deal.  Another reason I took the job was that I felt I had lived a very sheltered life as a techie prior to moving to Morocco, I came into contact with many life styles that I normally wouldn't have met.  I have seen the complete cross section of Texas humanity now and I feel that experience is complete.

People are people no matter their beliefs or politics, or sexual inclinations.  I never liked the the idea of place holder people or NPC (video game term for non-playing character). I don't think there are any. There's people who are not aware and living by habit, and there's young souls who don't have a lot of experiences to have toughened them to life's troubles.  I have met so many awake and aware people in the last couple of years it really is astounding and a source of hope for me as to the future of humanity.

You can donate via the reader supported sign on the right side desktop browser version of this blog or via one of these platforms below from your phone.  PayPal and Venmo are pretty much instantaneous, Stripe can take as long as a week to arrive at my bank, but some countries do not allow PayPal donations which is why I got a Stripe account, that and the fact that Substack uses Stripe.
