Formation of the Grand Canyon
Arizona is my home state. I was born there. As a youth I backpacked many times in the Grand Canyon and Superstition Mountains. There many mysteries in the geology of Arizona, and Indian petroglyphs are everywhere in the desert. One of the mysteries is Lost Dutchman Gold Mine in the Superstition Mountains near Apache Junction. People have for decades searched for the mine but no true evidence has shown that they found it. The mountains are Apache holy grounds, you can camp there and hear chanting at night echo from the cliffs. It can be quite eerie at night. And everyone in Arizona has heard the stories of decapitated bodies and people who have gone missing looking for the mine.The area has a very diverse plant life and there are even apple trees from miners decades ago near a water hole. The best explanation I have heard is that the Lost Dutchman Gold mine was really King Ferdinand's gold repository for gold mined in Mexico. There's some evidence the area is protected by lethal force because the gold is of a known quantity and has been used as collateral.

Terran: Dear Stan X, I saw a video today about the Grand Canyon in my home state of Arizona. The video suggests that the steps on the cliffs are not Colorado river erosion but rather an ancient open pit mine. There are similarities to modern open pit mines.
Terran: There is another theory that suggests it’s plasma scarring from some ancient solar flare that got through earths magnetic field. Mars' massive canyon Valles Marineris is used as an example.
Terran: Do you have any records as to how the Grand Canyon was formed?
Terran: Also there was a newspaper article which I found on microfiche while I was attending Arizona State University in 1978. A man found a chamber in a cliff containing Egyptian gold relics and ancient writing. The Smithsonian was given custody and the man’s discovery is lost in history in some unknown repository. Why would Egyptians store treasures on another continent in the desert?
