Three things on this planet I found so magical, aurora, bioluminescence from plankton, and sprites.
Sprites very viscerally show you the power of the energies coming into this planet right now and how that affects weather systems, especially thunderstorms. It's a massive exchange of energy with a living planet. Notice the Milky Way galaxy from bottom left to upper right in the background.
This is what pilots sometimes see above thunderstorms.⚡️

They’re called Red Sprites — massive electrical discharges that appear 30–50 miles above storms near the edge of space.
They last only milliseconds… which is why capturing them on camera is extremely rare. Nature… pic.twitter.com/qdE9q0DaV3
The storm was already swallowing the ground… but the sky was still alive ❄️🌌 pic.twitter.com/jBXZFJ91tQ
